Shri Damodar Raghoji
Shri Damodar Raghoji Memorial English Medium School has been established in the fond memory Shri Damodar Raghoji. He was born in a humble family who lived on the peasantry in a village called ‘Rajeshwar’ in Humnabad Taluka. Though belonging to a peasants family, he had a sound background & was too devoted towards his village & its people. Shri. Damodar Raghoji had constructed a temple too in his village. In the year 1965, he moved to Gulbarga to explore his luck in urban prosperity. Once in Gulbarga, he then established a small business in clothing. As years passed by he took up to money lending business & this is how the reputed firm in finance i.e. the Raghoji finance gained firm grounds in Gulbarga, which till date is being carried forward by two industrious persons of his family i.e. his youngest son Shri Ramachandra.D.Raghoji & his wife Smt.Meera.R.Raghoji . Seeing his family well settled, he was satisfied with his life & had a peaceful end i.e. he breathed his last on 10th sept 2000, at the age of 67 years. During his life time he had full support of his wife Smt.Kamalabai.D.Raghoji. and all his children who are obviously well settled in their own lives.

SDRME School is an outcome of a self-established and meritorious lady i.e. the Secretary Mrs. Meera.R. Raghoji. She is a well qualified woman, who is renowned for being a successful entrepreneur. Being highly qualified she knows the importance of education and hence took a step of setting up a school. In this journey she has a strong support of her whole family. The president of the school Mr.Ramachandra.D.Raghoji also is a highly qualified businessman and takes personal care of all the matters related to the school.
Discipline
Discipline is a set of rules and regulations that remind us of the proper code of behavior. Discipline is a self improvement practice. It helps us all to achieve our goals in life. Implementations of discipline in students will help them to achieve their goals and dreams later in their life. Discipline in school is a must because if discipline is not maintained or enforced strictly, then the students will try to escape the rules and regulations.
Infrastructure
Schools, being the second home serve a number of purposes in a child’s life. Away from home, school becomes the place for children to spend their maximum time. The fact that infrastructure plays a budding hand in creating a favorable environment for a child’s growth. The effect of infrastructure is profound on the mental and physical well being of the students. Keeping in view our school provides all the facilities. Aspects like spacious and refurbished building, well ventilated classrooms, well equipped labs, and sports room, Auditorium for extra –curricular activities, library, and proper sanitation facilities are some of the infrastructure essentials that every school should provide to its students.
